    报告摘要🕛:
    We are very pleased to have Dr. Stephen Yue, Professor of Department of Mining and Materials Engineering, the Director of the McGill Institute for Aerospace Engineering, he will have an academic report to professors and students of School of Transportation Science and Engineering. The main contents include the following aspects: 1) Development of numerical methods for the analysis and design of aerospace systems; 2) Reduce and focus experimentation and flight testing via large-scale numerical simulation of complex multi-disciplinary aerospace systems; 3) Control and estimation techniques for space systems; 4) Aviation deicer research; 5) Topics include near net shape manufacturing, Ti and Ni alloys, lightweight alloys, repair . Future research directions will also be discussed.

    报告人简介🌐:
    Dr. Prof. Stephen Yue is professor and Chairman of the Department of Mining and Materials Engineering. He is also a Director of the McGill Institute for Aerospace Engineering, Lorne Trottier Chair in Aerospace Engineering and James McGill Professor as well. The Research Interests is: Aerospace: Cold Spray & Pulsed Electron Beam Physical Vapor Deposition; Automotive; Magnesium sheet alloys for automotive body applications; Advanced high strength steels with high crash worthiness; Hot deformation processes of metals; Hydrogen embrittlement of high strength steels.
